Welcome to Istoria, a new online journal devoted to publishing original scholarship on topics in History and related disciplines. Founded and edited by graduate students in the University of Washington History department, Istoria’s mission is to provide a forum for graduate students to expose their ideas to a broader audience, improve their scholarship through peer-review, build their publishing resume, and gain experience working on an editorial board. On this site you will find our current issue, a call for papers for our next issue, guidelines for submitting your work to Istoria and information about our editorial board, as well as links to information about the University of Washington History Department and graduate program.
