The Graduate Liaison Committee (GLC) serves as the official representative body of the graduate students in the Department of History at the University of Washington. The GLC was established in order to promote effective and fair communication between faculty, staff, and graduate students, as well as among graduate students. The committee is comprised of one M.A. or Ph.D. student, one Ph.D. candidate, and one student employee, elected annually by the graduate students in the department.
