All spring quarter classes to be held remotely

As announced by University of Washington President Ana Mari Cauce on Thursday, March 19, 2020, all spring quarter classes will be held via remote instruction instead of meeting in person.

Spring quarter will begin as scheduled on March 30, with remote instruction that will continue through the end of the quarter. As country-wide social distancing requirements continue to increase and evolve daily, we believe this is the best course of action for reducing uncertainty and anxiety and establishing a reliable, high-quality method of instruction and academic progress for UW students through the spring.

The Department of Applied Mathematics main office has also moved online until in-person classes resume. Please contact staff who are available to assist you online. For students needing advising, please visit the advising page to see your options.

The Computational Finance and Risk Management program takes the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff seriously. Please visit the UW Coronavirus Website for additional information.
