Class Description
Course covers methods and topics in protein engineering and design with an emphasis on biomedical and biotechnological applications. Topics include molecular visualization, homology modeling, molecular dynamics, and computational protein design. Students will learn the basis for these methods and how to use these tools through lectures and lab time. Students will apply what they learn from structured labs in the first half of the quarter to investigate a problem of their choosing during the second half of the quarter.
