Class Description
Course covers methods and topics in protein engineering and design with an emphasis on biomedical and biotechnological applications. Topics include molecular visualization, homology modeling, molecular dynamics, and computational protein design. Students will learn how to use these tools through lectures and lab time and will apply them to investigate a problem of their choosing during the second half of the quarter. The course will also introduce students to current research in these areas and high performance computing.

- Lectures are held Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00-11:20 PM. Office Hours are after Thursday's lecture from 11:20-12:00 PM. Lab is Friday 11:30-2:30pm, Lectures and Labs are in N140 Foege Building
