The The Digital Microscopy Center (DMC) provides resources for high-quality light microscopy and image analysis at the University of Washington. It is organized through a partnership between the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (Oto-HNS), Virginia Merrill Bloedel Hearing Research Center (VMBHRC) and the Institute on Human Development and Disability (IHDD).

The DMC is open to researchers, and their staff and students, with affiliations to at least one of these three entities. This includes research in the broad areas of disorders affecting the organs of communication, disorders of hearing and balance , or the collaborative research areas that are a part of the Intellectual and Development Disabilities Research Center within the IHDD.
