welcome to english undergraduate advising

English Advising is available to help with academic and career planning, preparation for graduate school, and other questions and concerns of undergraduates, alumni, and prospective undergraduate and graduate students. We also work with prospective and certificated teachers interested in the English Language Arts teaching endorsement for secondary education. We're involved in the UW ArtsLink and UW WordLink2nd window graphic, we administer ENGL 491 internships and the English Study Abroad Programs, and we run annual workshops for English majors on topics such as applying to graduate school, and writing the statement of purpose. We provide a home for Bricolage2nd window graphic, the UW's undergraduate literary and art magazine, and AU2nd window graphic, the UW's speculative fiction journal. We work with the English Honors Society students in Sigma Tau Delta2nd window graphic.
