Virtual Career Fair

In February 2001, twenty-two major research universities participated in a first-ever Ph.D. Virtual Career Fair, which allowed graduate students to search and access non-academic job opportunities.  Only members of participating universities can access the site, but the front pages from the 2001 fair (http://web.mit.edu/career/www/GraduateStudents/phdfair.htm) and 2002 fair (http://www.virginia.edu/~career/; see sidebar) are freely accessible.  If you are a student at one of these universities, contact your career services center about the password and possible future fairs.
