Title: Prof. Larry Dalton is seeking candidates to fill two postdoctoral research associate positions.

Description: Openings for two post-doctoral researchers are currently available. Current research in the Dalton group focuses on the design, synthesis and characterization of organic materials for application in Photonics.  In particular, organic electro-optic (EO) materials and concepts are being developed and we are beginning a new program on optical metamaterials. The two positions will focus on organic synthesis as well as material characterization using a variety of optical and femtosecond spectroscopic techniques. Experience in the areas of organic photonic materials, polymers, self-assembly/surface initiated sequential synthesis, and related synthetic and characterization techniques, is desirable. Cross-disciplinary experience in the combination of, chemical, optical, and electrical experimental techniques is also a plus.
