James Jun Beom Park (Bioeng), Carol Jia (Pre-Eng), Mary Rood (Molecular and Cellular biol.), and Matthew Rutherford (Chem Eng.) presented posters in multidisciplinary areas. Both James and Carol are Mary Gates scholars and all the students carry out year-around research at the Center. These students were mentored by Brandon Wilson (PhD), Marketa Hnilova (Post-doc), Hilal Yazici (IRES and PhD), and Turgay Kacar (IREs and PhD), respectively; Faculty supervisors are Professors Candan Tamerler and Mehmet Sarikaya.
