Three Months at the University of Washington:

Doctoral and post-doctoral trainees will be selected each year to spend three months at the University of Washington in Seattle starting in early September to:

Master's Degree Support:

Doctoral and postdoctoral trainees can apply for support of master's degree training in Peru or Seattle.

More information on the two-year Master's in Clinical Epidemiology degree program at UPCH can be found on their website. The MPH program at the University of Washington offers three focuses to choose from: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Global Health. Trainees would spend nine months (September through June) in Seattle, followed by nine months in Peru implementing a thesis research project, and three months in Seattle completing coursework and thesis.

Research Projects:

All medium and long-term trainees are eligible to apply for funding to support implementation of a research project in Peru. Trainees who successfully complete projects can also apply for support to present research findings at an international conference.
