The Innovation in Urban Freight workshop was hosted by the Puget Sound Regional Council and the University of Washington on February 6,7 2012. The purpose of the workshop is to learn of urban goods movement practices around the world and to explore their application to metropolitan regions domestically and internationally. We invited partnerships of cities, universities (or research organizations), and/or private sector entities from around the world to submit joint papers describing their goods movement challenges, policy and technology applications, and outcomes.
