Administrative Committees

Admissions Committee

This committee screens student applications and organizes activities for prospective students during their visit to campus as part of the admissions process.

Curriculum Committee

The Curriculum Committee works to ensure that the Program’s core courses and elective courses provide our students with an education in neuroscience that is both broad and rigorous.

Diversity Committee

The Diversity Committee works to ensure a diverse and inclusive group of students and to promote the success of students from under-represented backgrounds in the Program. Click here to learn more about the UW’s commitment to diversity.

Graduate Training Committee

The Graduate Training Committee of the Neuro Program advises students in their choice of courses and monitors their progress in the program.

Executive Committee

This committee advises the program directors on all aspects of the operation of the Neuro Program.

Seminar Committee

The Seminar Committee of the Neuro Program solicits nominations of potential seminar speakers from students and faculty of the Program, invites chosen speakers, identifies student and faculty hosts and arranges the schedule for visiting speakers.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is comprised of the Chairs of the Departments of Biological Structure, Biology, Physiology & Biophysics, and Psychology, or their representatives. This committee provides oversight, guidance and support, and assists in the nomination of co-directors to the Program.
