Graduate Program in Neuroscience

Community Outreach

Students are encouraged to participate in community outreach events coordinated by the award-winning Neuroscience Student Outreach Team.

Share your excitement about neuroscience with a wide range of audiences. Work together with Neuroscience students to serve our campus and community.

Art Neureau

Art Neureau is an annual event where neuroscientists, and those interested in neuroscience can submit art works to be shown at the Fremont Abbey, in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.

We take submissions for art pieces (they can be 2-d, 3-d, musical performances) in the weeks leading up to the event, which usually happens in May.

Here’s the link for the form one will need to fill out to submit a piece:

Brain Awareness Week

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is a nationwide effort organized by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives and the Society for Neuroscience to promote the public and personal benefits of brain research. The official week for the last BAW was March 14-29, 2016, but any week is a good time to get involved.
