Volunteer Opportunities Abroad –Build Schools & Health Clinics
ARCHITECTURE BRIGADES INFO SESSION Wednesday, July 25 at 5:30pm – Savery 137
Want to build a health clinic & school for a poverty stricken community? Would you like to travel to beautiful Central America for Winter break? Join University of Washington’s Architecture Brigade to Honduras, December 14-23 to bring access to education & health care for youth in rural communities. The student run campus organization will have short meetings to plan, fundraise, learn Spanish, and educate each other about the communities we will be visiting. Once on the ground, students will learn about building techniques, work side-by-side with community members, and meet the children who will be benefiting from the new school & health clinic. Speaking Spanish is not mandatory and translators will be provided during brigade. Applications are available here: https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/brdeturk/172963
