UW Symposium on Disability, Technology and Rehabilitation in Low and Middle Income Countries (fwd)

We invite you to attend the Symposium on Disability, Technology and Rehabilitation in Low and Middle Income Countries that will take place at the University of Washington on June 27th and 28th.  The symposium aims to bring together a broad group of stakeholders who focus on improving and increasing access to assistive technology and rehabilitation products and services for people with disabilities in low-resourced communities in low and middle income countries.  Chapal Khasnabis (http://idtr.uwctds.washington.edu/welcome/Keynote%20Speaker%3A%20Chapal%20Khasnabis )  of the World Health Organization will keynote with a presentation on Appropriate Assistive Technologies ( http://idtr.uwctds.washington.edu/welcome/Keynote ).   There is a great line up of speakers as well. There are two options for participating in the symposium: *         Register to attend in person *         Register for the live webcast For people traveling to attend the symposium in person, there is a low-cost housing option at the University of Washington. This housing is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. After June 5th, there is a late fee, but the cost is still lower than local hotels.  Learn more and register for housing.
