Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a splendid memorial day weekend! We are excited to announce that we will have a guest-speaker joining our discussion tomorrow, Tuesday, May 31st in the Health Sciences Building T530 from 4:30-6:00pm! We are thrilled and honored to have Dr. Benjamin Wilfond lead us in a discussion about a few cases related to his experience in pediatrics. This will be a discussion you won’t want to miss!

Benjamin S. Wilfond, MD, is director of the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics at Seattle Children’s and professor and chief of the Division of Bioethics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is also adjunct professor in the Department of Bioethics and Humanities. He conducts research on ethical and policy issues related to genetic testing, genetic research and pediatrics research. He has recently worked on issues related to newborn screening, disclosure of genetic research results and pediatric biobanks.

Please respond to medicuw@u.washington.edu with any questions, comments or concerns and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
