Which applications will be open on Saturday?
On Saturday (11/21), the General Participant Applications will open and they close on December 19th at 1:00pm. Scholarship Applications will also remain open until 12/19.
Thinking about Team Leader or Committee?
We encourage all who have any interest at all in being a Team Leader or on a Committee to apply! We are actively looking for folks who want to up their capacity with HCASB. Anyone hesitant about applying for TL positions should remember that TL Coordinators will be great resources for you as you assume the role. Anyone hesitant about applying for Committee positions should remember that committee memberhip is required before you can be on Steering Committee and that a small point-bonus may be added to your application (given you’ve done the work).
General Tips:
Here are some general tips for the application that we covered during Info Sessions:
- Be sincere and thorough
- Use specific and/or personal examples (i.e. Go deep and engage the application reviewer)
- Show you’ve done your research (Discuss why certain health/healthcare issues are prevalent in rural/underserved areas and why this is important to you.)
