This seminar is for UW undergraduate students and alumni who are planning to apply in the current year to graduate-level health professional programs, such as dental, medical, optometry, pharmacy, or veterinary schools.
Course content will build the components of a compelling, competitive application from week to week.
Students will direct their inquiry inward to identify strengths and areas for improvement, as they reflect on their readiness and motivation for a career in the health professions.
Class time will be spent on group work, short lectures, and visits from experts such as professional students and admissions officials.
This is a one-credit seminar graded as Credit/No Credit.
