The INSIGHT Summer Research Program is an eight week paid summer internship through the University of Washington at Harborview’s Injury Prevention and Research Center.
Students in the program are matched to clinical research projects at Harborview and UWMC and partner with a University of Washington Medical School faculty mentor. Students will also meet and learn from peers and health professionals from across the country. Bringing together a diverse group of young people interested in health care and research allows HIPRC to create a unique and rich resource for students who seek to learn more about what they can accomplish in the field of injury and injury prevention.
The application process has opened up for this upcoming year’s program. Attached is a one-page flyer with an overview of our program, which is geared towards undergrads entering their junior and senior years, as well as 1styear graduate and medical students, but accepts motivated students of all levels. They offer a $3,200 stipend to those accepted.
