
The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) provides scholarships of up to $22,500 over four years—as well as valuable avenues for professional development, networking and industry exploration—to students interested in studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or health care.
To be selected as an Opportunity Scholar you must:
• Plan to get an eligible 4-year degree in STEM or health care
• Be a Washington state resident and have earned your high school diploma in Washington
• Student must be a high school senior or graduate (high school equivalency), college freshman or college sophomore.
If a student has earned any college credit post high-school, they must either: 1) have earned no more than 90 quarter or 60 semester credits; OR 2) have been enrolled in college for no more than six quarters or four semesters.
