Lin, Tiffany

My name is Tiffany Lin and I am from Honolulu, Hawaii. I have always been a fan of airplanes, rockets, space, flying, and just staring at the sky adoring its wonders. In high school, I participated in the Real World Design Challenge where I worked with my classmates to redesign different parts of an aircraft. This is where I realized that I wanted to major in Aeronautics & Astronautics Engineering and hope to work for NASA one day. I came to the UW because I always wanted to go to school with a large campus and a lot of opportunities. I joined the Pre-Map program because I felt that it would bring me closer to my love of space, and help me learn more about research. I enjoy playing tennis, practicing yoga, listening to music, going to the beach, star gazing and meeting new people.
