Gootkin, Keyan

Hi my name is Keyan Gootkin. I am from Port Orchard, Washington, but I just graduated from Tacoma Science and Math Institute, a small public high school nestled in the woods of Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. I have been in love with astronomy ever since I could think hard enough to be curious about anything. As such, I am very excited to start my research career here in Pre-MAP. In my spare time I love to read, watch Star Trek, play games with my friends (video games as well as pen and paper RPGs), and try out new places to eat. I love meeting new people too, so if you spot me don’t hesitate to stop me and say hi!
