Rebecca Kyer

Hello, my name is Rebecca and I’m from Tacoma/Olympia. I am a sophomore at UW and I am planning to double major in physics and astronomy with a possible minor in Spanish. Studying astronomy is a relatively recent decision, but I’ve had an interest in what’s out there since watching NOVA and other PBS specials about anything space related when I was young. The really-very big and equally-unimaginably small pique my interest the most, but I am excited to work on research in any astronomy field. In my free time I enjoy hiking, working out, reading fantasy/sci-fi novels and exploring Seattle.
