Sarah Kahle

Hi! My name is Sarah Kahle, and I’m a freshman here at UW. I’m originally from Menlo Park, California (a little south of San Francisco), but I love the rain and am so excited to be here in Seattle. I plan to double major in physics and astronomy, and if I’m lucky, I’ll squeeze in some kind of art minor as well. As long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with astronomy; I have very vivid memories throughout my childhood of sitting outside, identifying constellations. At home, my friends and family call me the “space girl”. One day, I hope to study planetary science/exoplanets and to investigate the possibility of life elsewhere in our universe. In my free time, I enjoy indulging in sci-fi (Star Trek, Star Wars, and Marvel are the go-tos), reading, drawing, sailing, and spending time with my dogs.
