D’Aleo, Raina

I was born on a stormy Monday morning in my hometown: Pullman, Washington. Although in my earlier youth I was involved in dance, rock-climbing, martial arts, and musical instruments, in High School I narrowed my interests to soccer and softball. Math and science has always been a passion of mine, from learning to count in pre-school to physics senior year in high school. My senior year I even built a telescope for a school project which introduced me to the fascinating world of Astronomy. While at the University of Washington I look forward to continuing my education in the sciences and expanding my knowledge of the known, and unknown, universe.
