Hello! My name is Austin and I am from Santa Cruz, California. I transferred to UW from Cabrillo Community College in Aptos, California. I didn’t know what I wanted to major in when I was at Cabrillo, so I spent most of my time studying philosophy. After I took a few astronomy classes, I knew I wanted to do something space related. So I am here at the UW pursuing a degree in AA engineering. I am very interested in astronautics, and excited to further discover the field. But if that doesn’t work out, I will major in astronomy! I also enjoy listening to music, snowboarding, video games, and meeting new people.
