Since I was born and raised in Seattle and both of my parents are Huskies, the University of Washington has always been in my blood. After graduating from Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in 2010, I came to UW during summer quarter as part of the Washington NASA Space Grant Summer Undergraduate Research Program to research the geomorphology of Mars with the Earth & Space Sciences Dept. I have always been interested in science and math, but I specifically became interested in astrophysics thanks to the University of Arizona Astronomy Camps. My eyes have been set on the stars ever since, so I plan to double major in Physics and Astronomy. When I’m not stargazing, I like to sing, read, play card games, and, of course, go to Husky football games! I am extremely excited to be a part of Pre-MAP to learn more about astronomy research at UW.
