Instructions for screen SRF505

The SRF505 screen is used to check the status of a student's application. If the student is calling about his application and his directory release is yes on the SRI305 screen, next check to see what category of student application has been processed. If the status shows the student is a new or transfer student, transfer his call to Undergraduate Admissions @ 3-9686. If the status shows the student is a new graduate student, transfer the call to Graduate Admissions @ 3-5929. If the student is a Returning undergraduate, they need to speck to the Registration Office if they have questions @ 3-8580. There are several different numbers that are used to indicate the status of an application.

01 means the application has been received but no decision has been made.
02 means the application is incomplete. The applicant needs to submit missing data by the deadline before their file will be reviewed.
03 means the applicant is an athlete.
04 means the application has been referred to the department.
05 means the application is on hold. The student has either a registration or transcript hold and the application cannot be processed until the reason for the hold has been corrected.
06 means an admission petition has been referred to the department to see if they will allow the student to return in the same major.
07 means the application has been withdrawn.
08 means the applicant was on drop status the last time they attended and needs to be reinstated before the application can be offered.
09 means the application has been reviewed but there is no decision at this time.
10 means the applicant is being offered admission but an offer has not yet been produced and mailed to the applicant.
11 means enrolled.
12 means the student is registered.
13 means quota denial.
14 means the offer of admission has been printed and sent to the applicant.
15 means the enrollment confirmation deposit has been paid by the student.
16 means the registration advising notice has been printed and mailed to the student giving him the date they can begin registering for their quarter of admission.
17 means the application was here on time but something was missing and it is now to late to submit the missing information so the file is being closed.
18 means certain data is missing.
20 means the application was submitted after the application and we are not accepting the application.
22 means the applicant's residency is in question.
24 means the applicant declined their offer of admission.
