Our workshop was a great success. Over 60 educators from all around the state attended a two day event organized by the Russian Classroom team in University of Washington with the help of The Ellison Center for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies (REECAS), UW Language Learning Center, and UW STARTALK. Thanks to all who helped to organize this event.

STARTALK Russian Student Program Alumni:
You're invited to come back to the UW for a special opportunity to meet other Russian heritage speakers (and students of Russian), view a great Russian film, hear a brief presentation about the historical context of the film, and participate in a post-film discussion in person and online. (Participants who complete the online discussion forum will receive a special STARTALK Certificate). Invite your family and friends to come too! We'll have refreshments and it's FREE. Put your Russian to good use and have fun at the same time.
