Fiddleheads Forest School: Parent and Child Classes
Join us for a Fiddleheads Parent & Child Nature Class this spring, and make connections with the natural world that will last a lifetime. Through science-based exploration and outdoor play preschoolers and their caregivers will experience the Washington Park Arboretum using their senses. Each week of class is based on a different learning theme and features hands-on activities, hiking, games, stories and crafts. Above all, we will explore and let the natural curiosity of the young ones direct our adventures.

Note About Weather
This program will run rain, shine, snow, sleet or hail. The only conditions we would cancel for are un-safe roads (snow, ice) or lightning.
If your child is comfortably dressed for the weather, he or she will be able to focus on exploring and having fun at the Arboretum. If it's raining: long underwear top and bottom, rain pants, fleece, rain coat, boots, and hat/gloves if it's cold. Expect that anything you wear to the Arboretum will get muddy and wet on our adventures!
