Fiddleheads Forest School: Parent and Child Classes
Join us for a class (or six or twelve!) this winter of nature connection activities and outdoor play. Preschoolers and their caregivers will explore the Washington Park Arboretum using their senses. Every week's class will be based around a different learning theme. We will learn about the theme of the week through hands-on activities, hiking outdoors, games, stories and art projects, but mostly we will explore and let the natural curiosity of the young ones direct our adventures.
*Waitlist option - Call or email to be put on the waitlist for the class(es) of your choice. We occasionally have last minute openings.
WHO: Children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. The group maximum is 12 children.
WHEN: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday at 10am-12pm
WHERE: Washington Park Arboretum on the west side of the Greenhouse, behind the courtyard attached to the Graham Visitor Center (2300 Arboretum Drive E, Seattle, WA 98112).

Note About Weather
This program will run rain, shine, snow, sleet or hail. The only conditions we would cancel for are un-safe roads (snow, ice) or lightning.
If your child is comfortably dressed for the weather, he or she will be able to focus on exploring and having fun at the Arboretum. If it's raining: long underwear top and bottom, rain pants, fleece, rain coat, boots, and hat/gloves if it's cold. Expect that anything you wear to the Arboretum will get muddy and wet on our adventures!
