There are LOTS of guanacos up there, so the predator/prey balance seems to be alright. I imagine they also hunt at night. It was pretty amazing though. You could stand in any one spot and see quanaco bones. I have some pretty graphic photos of the corpses, but I don’t think I will share them on the blog…
