NIDA-P30 Pilot Project Program

The University of Washington Center of Excellence in Opioid Addiction Research would establish a pilot program designed to support 2 new projects per year. Proposed pilot projects will be solicited annually from NAPE Center Investigators. These proposals will be ranked by the External Advisory Committee based on a simple set of criteria: Priority will be given to proposals that 1) address an aspect of opioid use disorder, 2) support early-career investigators, 3) utilize the Imaging and Molecular Genetics resources, and 4) emphasize innovation/high risk. Our NIDA P30 grant is designed to provide communal infrastructure that catalytically supports NIDA-related research at the University of Washington. The Pilots are intended as a means to enhance Investigator access to the Imaging, Molecular Genetics, and Computational resources developed by the P30 award.
