Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing a social media marketing strategy for the HUB and HUB events.
- Assist with planning and executing social media campaigns; daily posts/tweets to all applicable social media outlets.
- Create and coordinate a marketing calendar with online activity, tracking, and partnership details.
- Monitor trends in social media platforms and tools and apply that knowledge to the social media marketing strategies.
- Monitor social media outlets/channels to ensure consistency of messaging across multiple networks.
- Strategize and partner with marketing teams across campus to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy.
- Track, measure, and prepare usage/impact reports of social media channels and campaigns.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum: Strong written communication and proofreading skills with an emphasis on grammar & spelling excellence.
- Minimum: Demonstrated experience with social media marketing, strategy, and management.
- Minimum: Knowledgeable of mainstream social media channels, measurable outcomes, and targeted campaign strategies.
- Practical experience in online marketing, web publishing, or basic web content management.
- Independent, self-starter with good problem-solving skills, and self-management skills.
- Desired: Photography and/or videography experience.
