Amazon Studio Operations Associate

Candidate will provide a wide range of support for customer events occurring at the Meeting Center. With this dynamic and challenging environment, support requirements will differ across disciplines for the daily operations and support of high visibility events. Ability to provide event production and technical delivery support. Proficient at working in a corporate office environment and an unyielding passion for customer centric deliverables.

Responsibilities may include:
• Promptly, thoroughly, professionally communicate with team, Amazonians, and business partners.
• Technical consultant to Event Producers and Production Manager.
• Scheduling and execution of system training and maintenance operations.
• Setup and configuration of audio, lighting, video production and presentation systems.
• Direction of overhire labor and coordination of other internal resources to complete complex setups efficiently.
• Clearly communicate, log and report on assignments using SharePoint, Excel & Outlook.
• Identify and work to resolve AV, Lighting, Video Production or Presentation system issues
• Assist other producers, engineers and technicians on as needed basis.
• Ongoing process review and process improvement.

• Pre-event:
o Event setup and technical coordination of assigned systems.
o Thorough testing of equipment use cases ahead of event.
o Event script preparation and distribution
o Navigate and support Amazonians media playback and presentation methods
o Clear communication with all team members and stakeholders

• Event execution:
o V1/L1 technical services for assigned events.
o A1 or A2 audio services for assigned events.
o Support and cross-training for audio, video, lighting, control systems and facility operations as needed.
o Technical direction of the video and lighting teams.
o Coordination of AV vendor labor resources
o Optimizing audio, video, lighting and staging for the best quality attainable

• Post-event:
o Assist with strike of event space(s), ensuring correct equipment handling and storage.
o Participate in post-event feedback discussions/surveys.
o Oversee proper strike of event space(s)
o Gathering of event data and Amazonian’s feedback within a common metrics reporting system

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong understanding of event AV and live event planning and execution.
· Proficiency with audio, video systems in a live stream environment.
· Ability to use AV resources to increase production value and exceed customer expectations.
· Focused, organized and effective in stressful environments.
· Able to replicate competencies and raise up team members.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 2 – 4 year degree in A/V streaming or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Prior corporate event or media support experience.
· MS Office suite.
