Intern will assist in all functions related to planning, organizing, and marketing for Skully Serves Volunteer Events (outreaches, fundraising, soliciting talent etc.)
Some specifics:
-Event coordination with volunteer events and large service projects (outreaches/programs)
-Promote and manage general teen volunteer recruitment through activity and campaign support
-Attends and contributes ideas to current and future volunteer events
-Manage existing volunteer relationships, develop surveys for volunteers and identify new opportunities for volunteer engagement
-Help analyze and access effectiveness of programs and suggest improvements
-Forge community partnerships with local and national bands through written proposals and calls
-Provide ongoing relevant and compelling content for email marketing, website, media relations and grant writing
Education and Experience:
•Majoring in Communications, Marketing or a related field strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
