Black Archivist believes in the power of the Black narrative and that Black artists are best suited to tell the stories of our community. We provide the tools and resources for Black people to document the life around them, both triumphs and tribulations. We believe access to equipment should not be a barrier to entry for documentation or compensation.
Thanks to donations from creatives around the nation, we have amassed a diverse collection of professional grade cameras and equipment. We invite Black photographers of varying skill levels and experience to apply for equipment.
Please note, not all application requests will be fulfilled as each submission is based on donation. Cameras are currently limited to app09licants residing in the United States.
