SUMMER 2021: Nvision Architecture, Inc. is seeking a summer architectural intern (May, 2021 through August, 2021) to learn alongside our creative team of professional architects and designers. We are a full‐service architectural firm located in Anchorage, Alaska that provides planning, architectural design and construction management services for commercial, education, medical, retail, hospitality/housing, food service, and church facilities.
Interns will have opportunities to take what they’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to real‐world projects. The personal guidance and practical training they receive from experts in the design field will serve them throughout their professional careers. Learning alongside seasoned project architects and managers in all phases of project planning, design, and construction management will prepare them for roles in our industry or other fields. Interns receive hands‐on instruction and feedback throughout their summer internship. They have access to a dedicated workspace and all equipment/resources necessary to facilitate their training and professional growth.
Highly‐motivated candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply architectural techniques, focus on innovative design solutions, develop professional procedures, and strive to uphold Nvision’s, standards and quality expectations. Familiarity with software such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and Sketch‐Up is important
