Pratt Fine Arts Center offers art classes for all ages, all skill levels and all abilities. Students receive professional artist instruction in an environment that allows participants to expand their skills as widely as their aptitudes and imaginations permit.

Pratt also offers independent access to its professionally equipped studios, providing shared access to the resources required for artists and hobbyists to pursue their crafts.

Pratt is the only facility in the Northwest where absolute beginners and established professional artists work side-by-side creating art in: glass; metal, stone and wood sculpture; jewelry and metalsmithing; painting; drawing; printmaking; and mixed media.

Pratt is currently seeking to fill the following positions:

Administrative Assistant

The Part-Time Administrative Assistant performs public reception and information functions, and supports a variety of administrative efforts. This position works closely with the Customer Service manager to support Pratt staff, instructors, and students.

The administrative assistant is a part-time position that reports to the Customer Service Manager. The position is approximately 8-12 scheduled hours per week to start, and will transition into more hours after an initial training period.
Pratt’s hours of operation are 9AM-10PM, Monday-Sunday. Desired shift availability includes, but is not limited to: Sunday 5PM-10PM, Weekdays 12PM-3PM as needed.

Director of Marketing & Communications

Pratt Fine Arts Center is seeking a vibrant and strategic-minded Director of Marketing & Communications. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Marketing & Communications develops and oversees all marketing, public relations, social networking & advertising related to Pratt’s programs: classes, studio access, membership, art parties and events. The Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for executing traditional and innovative media strategies that will increase visibility and awareness, drive enrollment and studio access, and strengthen Pratt’s overall position in the community. The Director of Marketing & Communications also collaborates with Development and Programs teams to support organizational fundraising and special projects/events.

Program Coordinator

Pratt Fine Arts Center is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Program Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Education & Programs, the Program Coordinator will provide administrative support for Pratt’s growing programs and initiatives. Specifically, the Program Coordinator will be tasked with planning and executing a variety of Pratt’s custom programs including classes, workshops and events that may take place on-site, off-site, or virtually. These may include community events, corporate events, private art parties, custom classes, as well as any other activities as determined by the Director of Education & Programs. The Program Coordinator will also support Pratt’s public online programming, scholarship administration, and exhibition coordination. The Program Coordinator works closely with the Director of Education & Programs and the Studio Managers to build community and maintain positive relationships with partnering organizations and community members, as well as to form and drive the mission and vision of Pratt as it relates to the department and program excellence. Must be available for occasional weekend / after-hours events.

Youth & Teen Program Manager

Pratt Fine Arts Center is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Youth & Teen Program Manager. Reporting to the Director of Education & Programs, the Youth & Teen Program Manager develops and oversees all programming for youth and teens, supervises instructors, and builds and maintains positive relationships with community members and partnering organizations. Additionally, this position will serve as an ambassador for Pratt, creating new pathways for engagement for local schools and their students, teachers, and administrators. The Youth & Teen Program Manager is responsible for creating experiences for a diverse group of young people that exposes them to both new and traditional creative techniques that will foster a sense of self and community.

The Youth & Teen Program Manager will work closely with the Director of Education & Programs to refine and strengthen youth and teen program offerings and initiatives; build relationships with local schools; broaden Pratt’s reach; and deepen teen engagement.
