Camp Taconic, a co-ed sleep away camp in Western, MA seeks camp counselors!
We are currently hiring upbeat and enthusiastic counselors to be role models for our campers this summer. Our camp is looking for specialty counselors for our STUDIO ARTS PROGRAM, specifically in ceramics, crafts, jewelry making, photography and video. This is a great opportunity for college students studying fine arts who are looking for a summer internship/job. Below you will find a more detailed job description.
Camp Taconic Specialty Counselor:
This is a summer job position, beginning June 16, 2022 and ending August 14, 2022. You will live in a bunk with about 10 campers and throughout the summer, your job is to monitor their social, emotional, and physical well being. You are helping with your campers during meals, bunk time and evening activities. During the six activity periods of the day, however, you go to your activity area and teach campers, ages 7-15, who are assigned to your area for that period. We are looking for specialty counselors that are not only passionate about and creative in their activity area but who also have the ability to teach and develop the campers’ skills in that area.
