LoCA is seeking a part-time art installer to assist local artists in hanging art within local businesses. The art installer will act as the face of LoCA, so the ideal candidate will embody a friendly demeanor and ‘can-do’ attitude. This independent role requires a vehicle and the ability to travel around Seattle and surrounding cities as-needed. The art installer will be familiar with hanging art using a hammer and nail, comfortable with climbing a ladder, and open to creative problem solving (as each new venue has a different layout). This person will also be responsible for recording wall measurements and taking pictures after the art has been installed. 20hrs/month on average and flexible schedule.
