The Montlake Future’s Internship and Graduate Assistant Program will provide a great opportunity for students interested in sports to receive “hands-on” experience in a fast and ever in evolving industry that is collegiate NIL.
Interns and Graduate Assistants in the program will help plan and execute marketing efforts for Montlake Futures, create engaging content and manage social media accounts, and take on additional projects and events as needed. Interns and Graduate Assistants will be cross-trained in all aspects of our program, providing a wide range of knowledge and experiences from digital marketing to event management.

Description: Assist in all aspects of digital marketing and content creation for a first-of-its-kind NIL collective at the University of Washington. Interns will assist with content creation, management of social media accounts, assist in the preparation of Montlake Future events, assist staff in working to create dynamic and engaging opportunities for student-athletes, assist with prospecting and research into organizations that would be a good fit for Montlake Futures to work with, and assist in daily operational activities of Montlake Futures.
Compensation:
● Hourly paid position ($20 per hour)
● 10-15 hours per week
Duties:
● Work 1 days in the office a week
● Assist with special projects as assigned
● Assist with management of social media accounts
● Develop and create graphics to be posted on the Montlake Futures social accounts
Qualifications:
● A current or recent graduate of UW student
● Possess the time and availability to make a commitment to this part-time position
● Ability to work a 10-15 work week
● Possess a positive attitude, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, responsibility, initiative, passion, and work ethic necessary to succeed as a member of the team.
● Possess an interest and/or desire to work in the business of athletics.
● Flexibility to work nights or weekends depending on the event schedule
● Demonstrate the ability to treat this internship as a real job and fulfill the requirements of the position.
● Prior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is strongly recommended
