Mari’s Place seeks Volunteer Art Teachers

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CREATIVE PEOPLE!

Mari’s Place for the arts is looking for enthusiastic students who currently attend the University of Washington and may be interested in volunteering as art teachers for our classes at our Everett studio.

We are currently recruiting for our Q1 2023 program which runs from January 3-March 28, 2023. Each class is one hour per week for drawing, painting, and dance.

Mari’s Place for the Arts has been supporting children’s arts and culture education for more than 10 years, serving about 400 students per year. Our art and dance classes utilize volunteer and experienced teachers. We are a non-profit organization and provide scholarships for our classes.

The children who attend our classes range in age from 7-12, some of which have never been exposed to the arts before. This would be a great learning opportunity for your students to gain some hands-on teaching in a very laid-back atmosphere – using their curriculum or ours! Volunteer positions can also lead to paid teaching opportunities.

Volunteer and share your drawing, painting, and dance experience
with local children ages 7-12 who are eager to learn!

Make a difference and impact on your community!
All supplies provided!
