This quarter’s project is a sensing ceramic object that detects heartbeat and offers tactile feedback using the beat as a signal.
We are going to be using CAD, ceramic 3D printing, sensors and Arduino. Interns need experience in one or more of the following areas: CAD (Rhinoceros, Fusion360 or Solidworks), Arduino, sensors (mics, vibration, gyroscope, or touch), circuitry, coding, ceramics, sculpture, behavioral science, biofeedback and mindfulness therapy.
This is a collaborative project with various exciting and experimental tasks.
