D2 Creative seeks Graphic Designer

Celebrating its 10th year, D2 Creative, LLC is a new type of agency that focuses on combining data and design to help businesses make more informed decisions regarding their marketing, branding and communication efforts. Messaging, positioning, and promotion are tested and modified to meet the specific strengths of channels like search, social, mobile, TV, print, radio, and even out-of-home. General Job Description:
Working as a member of the creative team, you will be responsible for creating designs for a variety of projects, including digital and print advertising, websites and website banners, presentation decks, digital signage, packaging, logos, trade show booths, visual content for social media, and other projects as clients specify to meet their branding criteria.

You will need to be comfortable with the latest version of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD and Microsoft Office, along with an understanding of HTML/CSS and cross-client rendering for the creation of email newsletters. Feel free to “wow” us with your Excel and PowerPoint skills, because they may be needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative director, digital experiences lead and marketing team to help provide high impact design solutions for our clients.
  • Work with the media/marketing team to create ads to media specifications, sometimes under tight deadlines.
  • Do research to help facilitate stock imagery and marketing campaign components.
  • Develop and maintain visual marketing content that supports client and company needs.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years professional experience in graphic design for web and print in the
  • Expertise in latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and InDesign.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and HTML 5.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within and design for WordPress and other cms
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred

Qualifications

  • Passion for design, color, and other forms of visual communication
  • A keen eye for and love of typography and typesetting
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, honest, and with a positive outlook
  • Ability to work under time constraints and juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in an environment in which priorities and deadlines change frequently
  • Portfolio that shows strong design and layout skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in partnership with the creative team
  • Ability to think independently, take direction, follow instructions, and accept critique
  • A keen awareness of deadlines and a strong desire to meet them

Nice to have

  • Experience in Javascript a plus
  • Experience in a Marketing/Sales organization a plus
  • Experience creating static and graphic digital ads that comply with IAB standards
  • Experience with video production, animation, and editing a plus

D2 is currently a remote agency, but all team members live within the states of Washington and Oregon. Only people currently within–or intend to relocate within a reasonable timeframe to–Washington and Oregon will be considered for this role.
