ARTErra is a project that hosts and encourages interdisciplinary artistic creation through artistic residencies. The residency addresses the need for physical spaces where artists can create, meet, reflect on their creative processes, and develop their work intensively and focused. Set in Central Portugal, in the green and welcoming village of Lobão da Beira, the residency offers a rural and tranquil environment for work. Although it is a private initiative, ARTErra has partnerships with the Town Hall and other notable community entities.
The application form must contain the following elements:
– C.V. and short bio of the artist
– Portfolio, videos, photos etc…
– Description of the project to be undertaken at ARTERRA, including the project’s objectives, needs and expectations of residence and all the details necessary to understanding the proposal
– Dates and Duration of residence (minimum stay 1week , maximum stay 6 months)
– Details (need for meals, work characteristics, number of persons, additional information relevant to the work process)
After we will have all this information we will accept (or not) the application and will budget the stay.
As a reference prices:
1 week 1 person in a single room is approx 190€.(+23%Vat)
2 persons in a double room is approx 330€(+23%VAT)
