Welcome to the A.CREW lab!

Our research harnesses theoretical insights from social psychology, cognitive psychology, and behavioral economics to foster positive outcomes, primarily in the domains of health and poverty. We draw on five broad research areas—construal-level theory, emotions, self-regulation, motivation and individual differences, and decision making—and examine how these theory bases can inform robust behavioral patterns. Beyond advancing these theories, we ultimately seek to generate practical recommendations for the design of messages and the marketing of products and services aimed to promote physical and psychological wellbeing.
