BRI: Attendance Policy and Directions
Attendance Policy
Attendance is recorded and subject to PHS review.
In-Person Attendance for Lectures and Discussion Groups:
- Arrive no later than 10 minutes past the event start time. Please review these directions to ensure you are on time.
- Check in with an administrator.
A confirmation of attendance will be sent by email the day of the event. In addition, attendance records will updated in the University of Washington MyResearch Portal and Hutch Learning on 7/30/20, 8/31/20, 9/30/20, and 11/2/20 and in Fred Hutch Learning on 11/2/20. While the program is designed to cover all required PHG topics in a single annual cycle, trainees are allowed to participate in several BRI Programs over the course of their traineeship, permitting them a reasonable degree of flexibility in meeting the attendance requirement. Attendance Credit for Watching Lecture Video Recordings
Video recordings of the lectures will be posted one week following the event, here: URL. To receive credit for watching, take the corresponding quiz and answer three of four questions correctly. All video quizzes must be completed by 10/31/20, attendance will be updated on 7/31/2020, 8/31/2020, 9/30/2020, and 11/2/2020. You will receive attendance confirmation by email and on University of Washington MyResearch and Fred Hutch Learning on 11/6/2020.
