Welcome Dr. Noa Brazg!

We are delighted to announce that Noa Brazg, PhD, MSW, MPH has been appointed as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the University of Washington School of Medicine’s Department of Bioethics and Humanities. 

Dr. Brazg has worked closely with our department for many years as an Affiliate Faculty member. She also serves as Director of the Department of Bioethics and Humanities’ Summer Seminar and the UW Health Sciences Interprofessional Education program, and as a clinical bioethics consultant for the UW Medicine Ethics Consultation Service. 

Her scholarship and teaching focus on clinical ethics, professional identity formation, intergroup dialogue, conflict mediation, and addressing power and hierarchy in healthcare teams. She partners with faculty and clinicians across the health sciences to develop engaging learning opportunities for students and practicing clinicians, helping them strengthen their skills in collaborative care and ethical decision-making. 

Passionate about breaking down barriers between health professions, Dr. Brazg is committed to creating educational environments where diverse perspectives are heard, valued, and acted upon. We are eager to see how her expertise and vision will continue to enrich our department and the broader UW community.
