Harborview Ethics Forum

Previously part of the “Ethics Education Series” at the University of Washington’s Department of Bioethics & Humanities, the Harborview Ethics Forum is put on by Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) Ethics Committee each month with different speakers invited to present on ethics topics. It is designed to educate clinicians, researchers, students, and trainees about the ethical dimensions of the research and clinical enterprises of interest to the UW Medicine community and the general public. The forums offer an opportunity to more deeply engage, study, and reflect on these topics and to learn from experts in bioethics, law, and humanities. This allows attendees to better address ethical issues in clinical care, human subjects research, classroom, and lab environments.
