Manizhe Eslami-Amirabadi, MD

Manizhe Eslami-Amirabadi, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and core faculty of the Memory and Brain Wellness Center where she works as a dementia specialist. She has a longstanding interest in ethics of medical care including neurology exploring barriers of access to care and disparities in the care provided based on the system and patient factors. She has worked with the underserved populations throughout her career in Iran and the US. Her current research interest is the ethical aspects of dementia care including stigma and socioeconomic disparities. She also collaborates with the palliative care department and the Neuroethics Research Group with a focus on people living with dementia.
